Training young people and giving them an interest in our industry is a passion of the team at the Antalis Academy as education and training are key to future prosperity of us involved is this dynamic ever changing market.
I am delighted to say that we have teamed up with Leicester College and this Summer over 30 students from the college will be attending the Colour Management Workshop in the Antalis Academy to enhance their knowledge in this area
They will be learning about the importance of achieving consistent colour across multiple printing devices and how important this is becoming both to the Printing Industry and major brand owners and corporate companies. They will undertake practical tasks to help them understand the complexities of colour
Leicester College is one of the largest colleges in the UK, with more than 26,000 students, 1,600 staff, plus an annual budget of £51million and offers a wide range of printing courses.
Commenting on this initiative Chris Spooner, Leicester College Business Development Manager said “we are delighted to be working in partnership with Antalis in their unique Antalis Academy and are most grateful to them for funding what will be a valuable learning experience for our Students”.
